Make up arguments!

Right ladies, hands up...how many of you have neglected make up items?!

Now think about those items. Is it due to their application, or is it their containers...?

Like many girls, I love a bit of glitter. Honestly, I love to make my eye make up stand out and if I could wear a little bit of glitter everyday, I probably would.

Obviously for the Christmas/New Year celebrations, glitter is on the cards. I remembered these little pots that I have collected from Boots over the years. Lovely colours! Then I remembered why I hated them.

HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THE GLITTER OUT EH?! SHAKE IT ON MY EYELIDS?!

It always infuriated me. Clearly...

I mean, fair play to 17 for realising that spillages do occur. But I unscrew the lids to find either a) the glitter has leaked out and is falling onto my hands and clothes or b) I can't get the stuff out.

What is also disappointing is that I have had the green one for years but haven't used it. The sticker covering the holes was still on it. The other four I got in January 2011 from St Pancras, when I was working at The Big Basement Company. TWO YEARS AGO. That is how infuriating these pots are! I haven't worn this glitter in that long!

Then I remembered this glitter that I have. Admittedly there was once a little spill with it, but I got this when I was 10, from Sephora. (When they were at Bluewater.) I always give up with the 17 pots and run to this one.

Cue a quick search on eBay. Three days later, these little pots have arrived. 10 minutes later, (with minimal spillage), I have 5 pots of shimmer dust. I have more control with the powder now, due to actually being able to get it out the dang container.

Now these pots are a little smaller than I wanted, but to be honest, for £3.33 and the use of my make up, if I spill a bit, it's not the end of the world.

Who else has changed their make up around? Different brushes? Different storage?

These little pots were £3.33 (inc delivery) from eBay here

Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad?
My mind keeps saying,

Run as fast as you can...
