Going shopping drunk - a mini Boots Haul.

So after my exam on Tuesday, I had a *few* drinks. I headed back home pretty early, but found myself at St Pancras with half an hour until my train arrived.

I went shopping in Boots. I spent a lot of money, yet still managed to sort all my bonus points vouchers that I printed off!

Anyway, I have made a video about it. To really understand my mentality the night before, I had a few more drinks, filmed, then edited (put an introduction on it!) Hence why the end is rather odd. OH WELL.

So just follow my lead,
Repeat after me...

Ladies and gentlemen, I can tell you now that I have had the most confusing, stressful, fun, depressing, crazy few weeks recently.

Firstly, I did my exam yesterday! It is all over and done with, hurrah!

However, another thing that is over and done with...Jamie and I broke up a few days ago. When I say that we broke up, he ended it. Putting it nicely, he wasn't really feeling it anymore. As awful as I feel, it is probably for the best. I hope that one day we can be friends again, as he honestly was my best friend and I will always love him like that.

Lets think of another positive...PAY DAY WAS YESTERDAY! I was planning on having a massive shop at Bluewater today with the gorgeous Lucy (she will be reading this, hey girlie!) but unfortunately my Grandma is in hospital and there's an awful lot of stuff going on. If anyone can help me spend obscene amounts of money, it is her! We'll re-convene another time with Jade hopefully!

I'm taking everything that has happened recently and learning from it. I'm making back up plans in case university goes wrong, I am having a fresh start and making some amazing new memories. Recently I have realised that I have the most amazing, true friends, who have been putting up with my madness and my crazy mood swings and ideas. (Monday's great idea was to drink half a litre of Lucozade at work...highly effective I might add. Then a few beers the night before my exam! RISKY!)

Either way, I am seeking inspiration and enjoying life. This is the start of the new and positive Ashleigh!

I just want to say thank you to all the bloggers out there who have been so supportive recently, your kind comments really do make me happy and smile!

It's my life,
It's now or never.

Just not good enough.

That feeling of never being good enough will always creep back, however good or bad that I feel.

I will never be the one that people think of, when I should be their first port of call.

I will never be acknowledged.

I will never look right or act right.

But I have to keep telling myself that the right people want me.

The people who raised me. The people who support me. The people that make me laugh. The people that make me eat. The people that know how to make me smile. The people that push me to be a better person.

I guess until I just saw that, I never really appreciated the right people.

Mum, for always doing everything to make my life the best it could be and for supporting me.
Andy, for being the best father-figure, for treating me as one of his own.
My Grandma, for being the fountain of all knowledge.
Uncle Phil, for being the constant support when I struggle.
Uncle Paul, for being my go-to guy to rant to!
DanDan, for being the gay best friend of my dreams!
Mike, for being that guy that I could never bear to lose.
Lexy, for being my constant.

Bon Jovi, for always having the right words.

Then my Argos girlies. Stacey, Jade, Lucy, Emma. I have known you 6 months, but I feel like I have known you forever. You're my family. Love you all so much.

The Argos boys. You all bring a smile to my face! Josh and Jack, you guys in particular, help me in so many ways.

The reason for this post? I saw something that disgusted me. That confused me. That hurt me. That didn't even surprise me.

I may be a crappy human being, but I know what's right and wrong. I have a backbone. Unlike them.
They will never get me. If they haven't so far, they won't anytime soon.

I'm nearly 21 years old, this shouldn't bug me so much. But it does.

Only fools are know it alls,
and I played that fool for you.

Feeding horses bananas.

Hey everyone!

As I mentioned in a previous post, the next few weeks will be busy and I just haven't had time to sit down and blog properly.

So as I was with Candy yesterday, I thought I would do a quick video! (Yes I am in my uniform, I came straight from work!)

Hope you enjoy it!

She's so lucky,
She's a star.

Avon Naturals Almond Oil & Avocado Conditioner

For the next few weeks I am house sitting.

Stupid me packed my shampoo, but left my conditioner behind. I cannot tell you what goes through my head somedays.

Luckily I had this sample sachet in my overnight bag.

This is the Avon Naturals Almond Oil & Avocado conditioner. It's meant to be for dry/damaged hair, but you know me, if it's conditioner, I'm happy.

After using this, I am happy! It smells lovely and my hair feels nourished, without being weighed down, which can be a worry for me. It washed out nicely leaving soft hair, not coated hair!

Not only that, the full size bottle is only £2! Very impressive.

You can buy this conditioner from Avon HERE.

(I have gone home and picked up my conditioner since!)

Only hate the road when you're missing home.
Only know you love her when you let her go.

Sunkissed Highlighter - a plea for help!

Evening everyone!

This post is to just gush at how pretty this product is...and a beg to ask what to do with it! Apparently this is a highlighter?!

Yes, pre-swatched! I just got a little excited when I saw it...

I mean, how pretty is this?! I just have no idea how to use it.

Any ideas would be appreciated you lovely Beauty Aficionados out there!

Freebies of the week! #33

I did one of those quick Facebook competitions when they say, "Hey, email your details and you could win this!"

So I did. I won. Hurrah.

I won alcohol. Double hurrah.

It's lime. I've never tried SoCo lime. Triple hurrah?

Either way, this is gonna be mine after my exam.

Sitting in the garden, this jug, a lotta SoCo, some lemonade and a few slices of lemon and lime.

I said I wouldn't call,
But I'm a little drunk
and I need you now.

Update: Where have I been?

Regular readers of my blog and my Twitter followers may (or may not) have realised that I have melted away from the world of social media recently for a variety of reasons.

1. I have my resit exam on the 28th May. Revision tiiime...
2. Remember me hurting my foot? Yeah, still buggered.
3. Work. Love it.
4. Horses take up a lot of time.
5. Chores
6. I went to a work's do on Saturday. I was VERY drunk.*
7. I like to sleep when possible.

So it has all been going wrong! By the time I have chill time, I am DEEPLY uninspired by being SO knackered. In the end I take the time to read all the lovely blogs I follow on Bloglovin' and go to sleep. Honestly, by the time I get to use my laptop, there's like 90-odd posts to read. The highest has been 158. Oooft.

Anyway, I haven't forgotten about any of you, promise! I will be house sitting soon so will have a bit more time hopefully. By the 29th May I will be:

- Free of exams
- Paid
- Drunk (hopefully)

Please bear with me everyone, I will be back with you all soon. Things are feeling a little difficult at the moment is all.

I've been a fool,
To ever open my hear to all that jealousy,
That bitterness,
That ridicule.

*I would like to say that I have learnt my lesson...but getting drunk at works dos is just the best experience ever.
** Okay, I have learnt that shots are not my friends.

To send or not to send...that is the question...

Ever write a text that you really want to send, but just can't? You're texting another friend about it at the same time, yet you really can't send it to that actual person?

No, I'm not drunk texting anyone.

If I was drunk, I wouldn't wonder about sending it. I wouldn't be writing this post now.

Honestly, I think it would massively piss off the person if I sent it. However, my fears of standing up to this person are HUGE. As I have already confessed to said person this evening...which hasn't even been frickin' acknowledged!

"I'm probably about to piss you off even more but you need to know this...I wish you would stop excusing your behaviour, realise what you do and say and just apologise. I can only remember one apology from you, where you meant it and you didn't excuse your behaviour..."

That's what I wanted to send. I am just so tired of always apologising first; sometimes being the only one to apologise.

I guess there will never be any change.

It's quite hurtful, not being good enough for a simple, "sorry." I know that I am not good enough, but I must be worth that at least.

Truthfully, I am not sure if I would even want this person to see this post. I don't know if they even will. But if they do, I wonder if they will ever understand the hurt, the pain and the fear.

If posting this does damage, then so be it. It's not like there isn't damage there already. Whilst I am at it, no healing has been done either...

With love from the scared and sad girl x

Sorry seems to be the hardest word...
